Sales Development Representative

As a Sales Development Representative at Dexibit, you’ll share Dexibit’s big data and analytics vision with the world to enable cultural attractions to make insightful, data driven decisions. This position involves working with institutions internationally, by reaching out proactively by phone and email to develop qualified lead introductions to our Account Executives. This role provides the opportunity for rapid career progression into Account Executive or Client Executive roles.

This is a great entry level role for driven Emerging Museum Professionals (EMPs), especially those with an academic background in museum studies or similar and internship experience in the cultural sector. At Dexibit, you’ll be our first impression, advocating for data informed institutions and articulating Dexibit’s value proposition while managing a pipeline in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Working with key contacts from cultural institutions from around the world – museums of all shapes, sizes and disciplines – this is a unique opportunity to rapidly gain worldly experience and a network in the sector while keeping up with the latest in technology innovation.

You’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferably in an arts related discipline), or in a final year of study

Data Engineer (Python)

As a Data Engineer at Dexibit, you’ll be responsible for developing integration packs, drawing and curating data from various third party application sources to share insight with our users.

You’ll have at least 1 – 3 years experience in a technical role, with exposure to big data analytics. In particular, experience developing integrations and working with APIs will be highly beneficial. Most importantly, you must demonstrate an ability to work in a collaborative environment, be an organized and confident problem solver and be able to communicate complex ideas clearly in a distilled, meaningful manner.

You’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (in an engineering, computer science, software development or related discipline)
  • Data analytics development experience with Python and SQL (NoSQL and AWS experience beneficial)
  • Experience with data curation and modeling, dealing with data from a variety of structured and unstructured sources
  • Familiarity with machine learning, big data and distributed computing practices
  • Problem solving, organization and communication skills

An excellent command of English is essential.

Visualization Engineer (Paid Internship)

As a technical intern at Dexibit, you’ll get hands on experience in your field, working under the guidance and support of a Dexibit mentor with the opportunity for career progression into a graduate development role, responsible for developing new data visualizations for Dexibit to share insight with our users.

You’ll be in your final year of University and able to dedicate at least 10 – 15 hours per week in office during extended business hours, alongside your study. In particular, knowledge visualizing large data sets will be highly beneficial. Most importantly, you must demonstrate an ability to work in a collaborative environment, be an organized and confident problem solver.

You’ll need:

  • To be in pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree or higher (in a computer science, software development or related discipline)
  • Development ability with Java
  • Interest in visualization tools and techniques (D3.js or others), Javascript SCSS/CSS
  • Passion for beautiful design and usability
  • Problem solving, organization and communication skills

An excellent command of English is essential.

Please note Dexibit prefers working with students completing full time work experience or primary research projects as part of their academic program. We’re looking for passionate, intelligent and entrepreneurial students interested in gaining experience in big data and analytics for Software as a Service (SaaS) in a Business to Business (B2B) setting, plus:

  • Completing a Bachelor’s degree or higher education (for Data Science, a Master’s degree or higher)
