This week, you’ll see important new functionality being gradually introduced into Dexibit for your feedback, including summary statistics and periodic totals. We’ll be continuing to roll out these changes to various visualizations in the coming weeks, after we’ve made any adjustments based on your response.
To begin, these enhancement are only available on some visualizations, such as 19 Venue visitors. Try it out and let us know what you think!
When you expand a visualization (by clicking on the expansion arrows in the top right hand corner of an applicable visualization), you’ll see four boxes above the visualization itself, displaying quick reference summary statistics dependent on the data concerned. For the time period on display, these statistics may include:
- Minimum value
- Maximum value
- Sparkline (visual)
Similarly, when you expand a visualization you’ll also see a table below, displaying periodic totals. For the time period on display, these totals may include:
- Weekly totals
- Monthly totals
- Quarterly totals
- Yearly totals
Where your calendar date range over covers a part period, an asterisk will indicate the total is only a part thereof. You can always change your calendar time period to adjust this.
Plus – as well as downloading the raw data (by clicking on the download icon in the top right hand corner of an applicable visualization), you’ll also now be able to download data from periodic tables by clicking on the download icon below the table itself.
Release date: March 5th 2019
Feedback welcomed as we roll out these enhancements further, plus in the Reporting module too.
