Premium: getting started

Predict and analyze visitor behavior with forecasts, insights, dashboards and reports backed by a visualization library referencing a variety of integrations. In this section, we’ll walk through getting started, take you on a tour of Dexibit and dive into data with your organization.

1. Sign up and submit data

When you join Dexibit, you’ll receive a confirmation welcome email with instructions on how to get started. To begin, you’ll need daily visitation totals for at least 12 months history (or more, if desired). Download the template and send data in XLS format to info@dexibit.com.

In the meantime, our team will provision your account. We’ll have it ready within 48 hours of receiving your data.

2. Predict and analyze visitor behavior

Once we’ve received your data and have everything setup, you’ll receive a user invite with details on how to login (let us know if you’d like to add other users, which are unlimited for Dexibit Premium).

Once you’re logged in, you’ll arrive at your dashboard, ready with a starter dashboard and a wizard based tour. From here, you can also access forecasts, insights, reports and more, plus transparency and control of where your data comes from, what happens to it and who has access to it.

For multiple venue accounts, you can also use portfolio mode to summarize venue performance across a group of venues, or slice and dice by venue.

3. Integrate data sources 

With Dexibit Premium, you can connect a variety of data sources via manual upload, oAuth integration (a simple standard integration method), yours or our Application Programming Interface (API), Secure shell File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) or direct database access. These sources can include:

  • Footfall (such as beam break, thermal or camera)
  • Ticketing (including for visitation and activities such as exhibitions, events and experiences)
  • Presence (such as WiFi, RFID and/or Bluetooth)
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
  • Point of Sale (POS)
  • Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube
  • Google Analytics, Google Reviews and Google Alerts

You can also enter data such as your expenditure, marketing campaign budgets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). We’ll also provide you with a weather feed, local tourism where available and a base regional context of what’s happening around your venue, which you can add to and curate, together with what’s on at your venue.

4. Managing your account

With Dexibit Premium, you can have unlimited users for each venue in your account. In the venue management module, you can manage users and their permissions, configure the transparency and control of your data, document data governance and even set targets for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

5. Managing a portfolio of venues

With Dexibit Premium, you can have multiple venues, if your venues are linked as part of a portfolio. In the venue management module, you can manage venues and their users, easily switch between venues and enter Portfolio mode to view multiple venues at a time either together, or sliced and diced by one or more venues.
