A letter from our CEO

A decade ago, a chance encounter with a clicker counter at one of the world’s leading museums stopped me in my tracks. It was a small moment I’d normally walk by, seeing a security guard count people in and out. But it struck me that behind it sat something much bigger – an industry full of incredible places, run with care and intuition, but without the data to truly understand what was happening or what to do next. That moment led to Dexibit.

We set out to take visitor attractions from gut feel to insight inspired and to empower the places we love to visit. First with data, now with AI, always with the belief that better decisions create better visitor experiences and stronger, more resilient organizations.

Along the way, we’ve had the privilege of working with inspiring cultural institutions and commercial attractions all over the world. Different missions, different models, but a shared ambition to do better for visitors and teams.

We’ve also been there through the hard years together, when the doors closed at every one of our customers and uncertainty was the norm, teams were asked to do more with less. The years to follow turned out to be a rebuild rather than a bounce back when the world reopened. Those years changed the industry and us too. They deepened our belief that timely, trusted insight matters and that it needs to be democratized for everyone, from the boardroom to the front line.

What we’ve built at Dexibit is not just a data platform. Behind our data experience sits a deep layer of context across different domains and systems, the result of those hard fought years of experience, bringing together numbers and human feedback. It pulls in years of our benchmarks and shared learning – built specifically for this industry and shaped by the people leading it. Because data on its own is not the hard part. Understanding it in context, turning it into decisions, moving forward into action, is what truly counts.

Today, I’m pleased to share that Dexibit is joining accesso.

Our team has always believed that insight alone is not enough. The real opportunity is in what happens next. With accesso, the market leader we’ve always looked to in industry – we take that step, helping teams act on insight in the moment it matters. Bringing together intelligence and execution, from asking better questions to taking better action. 

This is a natural next chapter for us and for the industry as it enters its AI era.

There’s also the things that won’t change. We remain committed to the open ecosystem that our customers rely on. We will continue to integrate across the systems you choose and to work with partners across visitor experience and venue operations. That has always been core to how we operate and will remain so. Our team stays – and will grow. There are real problems left to solve for this industry and our pace of innovation will not slow. Our focus remains on helping you get more visitors through the door, delighting them, retaining their loyalty and doing that as efficiently as possible.

What does change is the scale and support behind us. With accesso, we have the opportunity to accelerate what we’ve been building together, and to bring decision intelligence into more parts of the operation, more quickly.

To our team, who have built something thoughtful and enduring over ten years, to our customers, who trusted us with your data and your decisions, to our partners, who helped us connect an increasingly complex ecosystem and to our community, who believed in what we could become – a big thank you from Justin, Ravi and I. Our shared passion has propelled Dexibit to this point and it will shape what comes next.

This work has always been a joy and we can’t wait for our next chapter together.
