Minneapolis Institute of Art (Mia)
The Minneapolis Institute of Art (Mia) was established in 1883 and is an arts museum located in Minnesota - one of the largest arts educators in the state and art museums in America.
Mia sees over 500,000 visitors a year and general admission is free. It hosts a comprehensive public program, has an extensive membership offering and includes a cafe, shop and venue hire business.
The Museum holds 90,000 works of art representing 5,000 years of world history, with a permanent collection incorporating world famous works across six continents. The Museum has seven curatorial areas: Arts of Africa & the Americas; Contemporary Art; Decorative Arts, Textiles & Sculpture; Asian Art; Paintings; Photography and New Media; and Prints and Drawings.
“I continue to be most impressed with how Dexibit worked to meet the moments of closure and reopening, not just through sharing stories and providing access to examples, but also by building multiple now essential tools.”
