Weta Workshop
Weta Workshop, based in New Zealand, produces effects for television and film. The company has two commercial visitor facing venues: the original Weta Workshop tours in Wellington, alongside a brand new and innovative 'Weta Unleashed' Location Based Experience (LBE) in the Sky City entertainment precinct of Auckland, offering interactive, tour based experiences.
Weta was founded in 1987 by Richard Taylor and Tania Rodger and is famous for its work in sets, costumes, armour, weapons, creatures and miniatures. Cornerstone projects include Peter Jackson’s the Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit and King Kong, alongside earlier projects with Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Xena: Warrior Princess and Heavenly Creatures.
“We’ve partnered with Dexibit because they have skills, experience and knowledge to help us direct, analyze and dig through our data. We’re not spending weeks trying to pull insights.”
